SC2010, 19 - 21 March 2010, is the Metropolitan Police's production of the definitive biennial Special Constabulary conference, with a significant attendance of senior Special Constables and regular officers, local Specials, officers and police staff, as well as national and international policing partners.

SC2010 is about sharing the success of the Special Constabulary and so the event aims to promote the best of the fantastic work of the significant force of volunteer police officers on the ground across the country whilst looking at the way ahead.

The National Special Constabulary Conference sets the scene and direction for the following two years and, with the Olympic and Paralympic Games just two years away from this point, the conference being held in London is a chance to pave the way for highlighting the extraordinary potential of forces' contingents of fully-warranted Specials.

The SC2010 team have looked in-depth at the feedback from previous conferences and are using this, plus their own ideas, to ensure an engaging, stimulating, entertaining and memorable conference. The event team are promising a weekend to remember.

If you're a part of or involved with the Special Constabulary across the country (or if you're a member of one of our volunteer/reserve police organisations around the world) SC2010 is certainly an event not to be missed.
