The Conference Planning Team had their work cut out for them sourcing an appropriate venue which was no mean feat given the choice in London. However, after much thought and consideration we're pleased to announce the chosen venue for SC2010 as Guoman Hotels' The Tower, which offers superb conference facilities in one of the most iconic settings we could find. The Tower is located on the north bank of the River Thames right beside Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, making it perfect for exploring the historic landmarks or the riverside. The hotel also overlooks St Katharine Docks, a unique waterside location in the centre of London which offers a discerning shopping experience as well as a good choice of pubs and bars all of which are within easy walking distance of the hotel.
There is a fitness centre with modern, easy to use cardiovascular equipment and the Xi bar named from the Mandarin for flowing water has spectacular, unparalleled views of the Thames and Tower Bridge with a contemporary, cocktail lounge feel.
